The only mindfulness email YOU will ever need has just arrived & it’s in your inbox. This is pretty cool! It means so much to have you apart of this experience so thank you for joining. Enjoy!
Let’s Get Into It:
2020. It’s been quite some year, huh?
From collectively experiencing this global pandemic, to then being put on what felt like house arrest forever, to everything else in between, it almost feels like we’ve been on some sick & twisted reality tv show of which none of us signed up for.

Can we catch a break? Right now, I’m sure it’s safe to say we can ALL use a little zen in our lives.
Take a moment. Get comfortable. Breathe & allow yourself to be here, right now.
This is something I put together in hopes it’s what you need to get your week going to a smooth start.
Here’s the LOC breakdown for you to preview what you’re getting in this email (at a glance):
Mindful Insights (includes a special first look at my mindfulness monday IG POST of the day) 🗣
Mindfulness Challenge of the Week (mindfulness exercise you may like to try out) 🧏🏽
Mindful Approach (Tips to DeStress) 💆🏽♂️
Mindful Reflection (3 things I’m currently doing to help me find my zen right now) ☯️
Zen-spirational words for the week to live by:
Intention, Purpose
— what does this mean to you? How does intention & purpose relate to you in your own life? What can you do today that involves intention & purpose?

How often are we really present to the current moment? How often do our days instead fall into habits of letting our thoughts run us; transitioning moment to moment of attention to inattention?
We constantly ruminate in thoughts from the past or into the future, which results in us not ever really being fully present in the now. Because of this, we miss out on some really cool things that life has to offer. We also end up ignoring really important messages or information about our life, our relationships, & even our health because we’re never really truly...here. Through mindfulness practice, we can completely transform this way of being to a more joyful, energetic, & satisfying way of being instead.
To strengthen your ability to live more mindfully, & to essentially feel like you're truly living with purpose, all you have to do is give yourself the time, practice, & patience that it takes to cultivate that.
Create a daily mindfulness practice for yourself this week. Stay consistent. Be kind to yourself. And don’t give up.

My Reflections —
what’s helping me get by this week-
A quote I like:
Intention is the starting point of every dream. It is the creative power that fulfills all of our needs, whether for money, relationships, spiritual awakening, or love…Everything that happens in the universe begins with intention…our destiny is ultimately shaped by our deepest intentions and desires. – Deepak Chopra
My fav meditation: this week I’ve been really into the insight timer app and have been enjoying listening to sound healing meditations while I immerse myself in mindful breathing sessions.
What I’m learning: currently taking a humanities class for the first time ever & I’m learning about the different styles of art and how it relates to the human experience. It’s only been a week or so into the semester, but I’m so excited for what can come from it. Why am I taking a humanities class? I’ll save that for next week ❤️
