let’s get into it—
In this episode, I share a very different type of meditation style that you haven’t heard from me yet.
…A powerful practice designed to help create REAL LIFE TRANSFORMATION — I share with you a FREE (10 min) guided meditation coaching session!!!
This practice combines meditation & coaching to bring you to a state of calm, focus, & inner clarity so that you can gain the insight you need to get through any bumps, blockages, or hurdles you’re going through, so that you can continue to create the life you deserve!!!
So if that’s something you think you need, please take time to give this session a listen too!
A lot of the time, we think to be strong means being able to overcome the BS life throws at us, rising up from the darkness, better than ever!
And yeah that’s actually true. That def makes you strong!
It takes a strong person to get to a point where they’ve established boundaries, standards, and worth for themselves.
It takes a strong person to have gone through such painful moments, that may have involved a real or perceived loss, to then continue to push forward with a smile.
It takes a strong person to experience rejection but still know their worth.
But there’s another aspect to what makes you so strong that you may have not even considered…
And really is the reason I'm so proud of you… (click here to read FULL blog post)
Challenge yourself this week! Below I shared three ideas of potential tasks/activities you can take on for yourself this week!
Pick one of the three (or all three if you’re feeling up to it) and commit yourself to it! Journal your experience. If you feel called, share how it went with us in the private zen space Facebook group (zen space fb group)
Make this phrase a mantra: ‘Treating myself with love/compassion will make me strong.’ Watercolor or crayon or calligraph this phrase. Post it where you will it daily. We tend to think being hard on ourselves will make us strong. But it is cherishing ourselves that gives us true strength.
Take yourself into a sacred (zen) space— a church, library, woods—and allow yourself to savor the silence and healing solitude. Each of us has a personal idea of what a sacred (zen) space is. For me, spending some time in nature, hiking new trails, or even just hanging out in my room playing binaural beats focus music with some lavender oils diffusing can create wonders for me. Experiment.
Collage: Collect a stack of atleast ten magazines, which you will allow yourself to freely dismember. Setting a twenty-minute time limit for yourself, tear through the magazines, collecting any images that reflect your life or interests. Think of this collage as a form of pictorial autobiography. Include your past, present, future, and your dreams. It is okay to include images you simply like. Keep pulling until you have a good stack of images (at least twenty). Now take a sheet of newspaper, a stapler, or some tape or glue, and arrange your images in a way that pleases you. (Have fun with it.)
