May Your Throat Chakra Be Open & Healthy
Your weekly dose of mindfulness because you deserve to live well.
Hello my friend!
Welcome to another month into 2021.
And what a blessing it is. It's another month to be alive; to experience; to witness; to create; to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be.
It's also the month we tap into our fifth chakra— the throat chakra.
This is the energy center associated with communication & self-expression.
It signifies how well you can balance your mental & emotional intentions.
If you are someone who's constantly lying, gossiping, judging, unable to express your ‘negative’ feelings, thoughts, or needs, those are signs showing that your throat chakra may be imbalanced/blocked.
To unblock & open up this fifth chakra, it starts with your inner voice and the way you communicate with yourself, then expands outward to the way you communicate with others.
In this email, I share with you a few positive affirmations that I use to help strengthen my throat center.
Try repeating these affirmations aloud to yourself. You can do them when you wake up & before you go to sleep at night. Aim to repeat these everyday for the rest of the week. Then check in with yourself & see if you notice any difference in the way you feel. Journal about it of you'd like—
Affirm Daily:
I am free to live my life the way that I want to live it.
What others say/feel/think about me has NOTHING to do with me.
I define my worth. And only I. The end.
I am living my truth & honoring myself.
I can express myself, always.
I matter…and that includes my thoughts & my feelings.
Let's Meditate!
If you'd like to meditate with me this week, join the circle—

This is part 2 of the 6 week meditation (beginners mind) circle—where I am sharing the fundamentals of meditation, what it actually is, what it isn't, tips on how to skillfully meditate and whatever else you may need to help you reach a deeper understanding/awareness & get you ready for your own personalized practice.
If you missed the first week, here's the replay. (click here for meditation week 1)
Week 2 is introducing you into the monkey mind and I'll share a few tips that you can consider trying that promotes a much more skillfull way to communicate with the inner chatter/feelings that arise in the mind and will also support you in opening up your throat chakra!
Hope to see you there!
