This November — it's time to put YOU first
It’s time to say NO to what is not serving you & YES to what is | Join my next live guided meditation. | Exciting news!!
Hey friend,
When was the last time you did something just for you?
I ask this because something I believe is — every person deserves to live a life that makes them feel alive, connected, and truly excited.
But because so many of us get so caught up in routine & wrapped up in the motions of our everyday lives— we lose touch w what truly lights us up.
We end up putting ourselves on the back burner.
And what ends up happening is our excitement for life starts to fade and we end up feeling increasingly more drained than driven.
If you’re reading this and resonating —maybe it’s time to hit “reset”?
Take a moment & reflect on these questions:
What is that fires me up?
What is it that brings me joy?
What would I do if I could let myself say yes to more of the things that truly matter?
NO-vember: Reclaim Your Energy
As we step into November—or “NO”vember as I like to call it—it’s the perfect time to hit reset.
This month is your chance to start saying "no" to the people, places, and things that drain you, and "yes" to what fills you up instead.
Think about where you want to redirect your energy, and then gift yourself permission to honor that by taking the necessary action steps to fully commit.
Sometimes, the best way to make space for what you want is by letting go of what no longer serves you.
And so let this month be a reminder that every “No” you give is really a “Yes” to something better.
Let this month be the month where you say YES more to the things that lift you up, bring you joy, and move you forward.
Live Meditation Session: Grateful and Grounded
This month, I’m guiding another live meditation on Insight Timer called Grateful and Grounded: Journey to Presence.
It’s happening on November 23rd at 7 PM, and I’d love to have you there.
This session will be all about finding that grounded, grateful space within—letting go of the noise and truly arriving in the moment.
Whether you’re new to meditation or seasoned, this is for anyone needing a little recharge before the holiday rush.
Save the date, join me, and let’s take this journey together!

Other Important Dates This Month:
It’s Men’s Mental Health Month —let us also take a moment to recognize that November is Men’s Mental Health Month. A month that can serve as a reminder to check in on the men in our lives and, if that’s you, to check in with yourself. Mental health is just as important as physical health, but it doesn’t always get the same care, time, & attention it deserves.
And speaking of health….
Stress Awareness Day is on November 6 — the perfect time to pause and think about how stress might be showing up in your life. How do you show up for the stress in your life? What practices or tools do you tend to turn too? Don’t have any?
Here’s one suggestive practice—
“5-5-5” breathing: a stress relieving breathing technique.
You breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 5, and release for 5. This is a small but powerful way to calm your mind in just moments.
If you’re ready for a deeper practice to support your stress levels, you can also join my guided meditation on the 23rd for a powerful session focused on grounding and gratitude.
Thanksgiving on November 28– A day for FOOD yes but also a day for gratitude and connection. And since on the topic— I would like to use this space to express my gratitude for you. Building this community has been such a gift, and I’m endlessly grateful for you just being here. From the bottom of my heart—Thank you for showing up here and for letting me be part of your journey in this way.
Something BIG Is Coming…🎉🎉🎉
Lastly, I’m so excited to share that I’ve been working on something meaningful for the nursing community.
The Virtual Nurse’s Station is in the works, and while I can’t say too much just yet, know that it’s going to be a space dedicated to support, connection, and growth for nurses. Keep an eye out for more info soon—I can’t wait to share it with you.
With so much love & gratitude,
Victor
