Thoughts that make you go hmm:
Each waking moment can serve as a reminder that we are here, now…in the present moment. A new day can be a way to start a new; leaving behind what doesn’t serve us & then allowing in all the goodness that the universe has to offer. It’s our choice.

“Take a breathe if you feel you need one right now.”
Here’s the LOC breakdown for you to preview what you’re getting in this email (at a glance):

The more value & meaning we give something, the harder is it to release. Letting go of anything can seem very difficult. Here is a perspective on how I approach this idea of letting go what doesn’t serve me. It’s not easy but when you cultivate this kind of approach over and over, in time it becomes do-able.
First—acknowledge the reality of what’s happening as well as how you are reacting to what’s happening.
Try to mindfully respond to the arising challenge in whatever positive ways that’s available to you. Don’t try too hard though, let it flow through you.
Trust your ability to cope
And breath into the situation (preferably three deep & full mindful breaths)
Be kind to yourself. Be curious. & keep an open mind.
P.s do this without judgement ❤️
The aim is to live a life with less suffering, more happiness & everlasting peace. You got this.
2) Join my friend for a FREE presentation— She’s a Child & Family Therapist, MSW whos going to present on how stress can impact children and what caregivers can do to help them activate their superpowers to be calm, happy and resilient, so that they can handle whatever life throws their way with confidence and grace! If this is something that interest you, be sure to check her out. You can register with the link below.

3) Resilience is a mindfulness community I was introduced too a few weeks ago, who’s been in the game for several years now. Their mission is to support mental health through utilizing alternative & holistic style modalities/interventions. They are hosting an event Sunday, August 9 1-4pm. If this is something you’re interested in, I’ll be there too, & you can join me for the fun. You can click the link to learn more & register. It’s a FREE event, too.
4) & now a very SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. So for those of you who may not know already, I am building up a few services, which one includes an offer to work with me as your meditation coach. The goal here is to (at the very least) support those in need to cultivate a sense of self empowerment, self awareness, & to build resiliency from adversity, through an 8 week course using different holistic & alternative style interventions. But before I take on real clients, I would love to offer YOU the 8 week course first for FREE, right here through the newsletter!! I’ve constructed a method which will allow for it to flow seamlessly every week. We’ll start with awareness and work our way to integration, where at the end of the 8 weeks, you’ll be able to readily apply mindfulness into your everyday life, be able to meditate on your own successfully, and feel a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction, shifting the way you live & feel about life in a brand new & transformative way.
I would LOVE your input/thoughts on this offer. If you can kindly, take the quick survey (click here) to let me know. The survey is just a yes or no question with a feedback section, nothing too fancy, just to give me an idea if this is something that interests you (:
Mindful Approach
So I wanted to provide you with a short guided meditation (only 8 min long) that aims to support us in becoming better in how we concentrate or focus; a way to stay with the present moment…staying with our breath. I really hope you can appreciate this meditation & I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Mindful Challenge

Mindful Reflection
So every so often I sit with myself to reflect on the way things are going in my life—thinking of what’s going right, what’s going wrong, & what can go better. Something I’ve been struggling with lately is ensuring that I get what needs to be done, done in a timely matter. I do create to do-lists for myself, and I have a white ”visual” board that I use to write down my goals; and while these strategies work, they often get forgotten after some time, leaving me to eventually feel like a ball of overwhelm.
But through this reflection, I came up with a unique strategy to make sure I’m always on the ball when it comes to getting ish done for myself. And it’s to raise the question, every morning when I wake up: “What’s the Most Important Thing Today?”
“What’s the most important thing today?”
It can be a certain thing I'm writing, a video I'm recording, a project I'm working on or it might be going on FB to engage with everyone.
But it also might be connecting with loved ones, or my mindful meditation practice. Or just generally appreciating life.
If you want to take on this practice, you might start by asking yourself this each morning, as you're planning your day, before you grab your phone & start diving into emails and messages.
What's the Most Important Thing today? & then just feel it in your heart.
You might ask yourself this later in the morning: What's the Most Important Thing right now? And again in the early afternoon. Late afternoon. Evening. Even moment to moment, what's the Most Important Thing right now?
You might notice the answer change as the day goes on. Whatever happens, it's a beautiful practice of grounding ourselves in what we care about most.
This has taken my to-do list to the next level. It gives my lists of things to get accomplished more meaning. I now use the list as a framework to keep me organized, and as I go through my day, I still may ask myself that very question, “What’s the most important thing right now?” and if something else takes priority, I shift. I’ve been flowing a lot smoother this way. :)
Did this reflection resonate with you? What about the newsletter as a whole? What are your thoughts? Feelings? I would love to hear your feedback. Also, I would love if you were to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add yourself to the zen weekly (private) Fb group. Looking to build this as a space to hangout, talk and share thoughts and ideas about similar topics of interest.
