Some things are easier said than done 😣
a 2022 perspective on how to talk the talk & walk the walk
Hello friend!
& Happy New Year!!!
May 2022 bring you closer to love, peace, joy, & towards creating a deeper connection to yourself & others.
Now that we’re in a new year & if you’re like many— you probably set a goal or intention or ‘resolution’ for how you would like to show up for 2022!
What is your intention/goal/resolution for 2022? And what makes it different than any other intention/goal/resolution that you’ve made in the past?
Do you keep up with your intentions/goals/resolutions? Or are they usually something you set in the beginning of January, feel hyped & ready to set it into existence, then a few weeks or months later, you forget alll about your goals/intentions/resolution & you’re back to square one…?
Setting goals/intentions/resolutions for the new year sounds amazing! And it’s probably because we see January as an opportunity, a space in time that offers us a starting point — to create the life we deserve.
Yet— many of these set goals/intentions/resolutions that many of us create at the beginning of the year end up failing. We either let life get in the way or we just generally give up on ourselves…
Right? It’s definitely easier said than done….but why is it like that?
I believe the reason why it’s so easy for us to set all the goals/intentions/resolutions for ourselves is because for one— it’s takes minimal effort/energy to say something. ANYBODY can set a goal/intention/resolution & speak it into existence….
What most people don’t understand though is that it takes a great deal of effort, time, energy, patience, passion, & drive to get a goal/intention/resolution to become a reality. It’s going to be a challenging journey.
So as you navigate this new year with your new set goal or intention or resolution— be mindful of the process & understand that it won’t be easy. Remind yourself of why it is you want to set this into existence? Ask yourself, “at what cost am I willing to make sure that this time I create the life I deserve.”
Lastly, I leave you with this message:
Life all in itself is ‘hard.’ Everyday we’re faced with new energies, new challenges, new experiences & we may not always be ready for or be expecting what may come our way. Yet everyday we have a choice. We can choose to rise up & ride the wave of life as it alll unfolds, even when it gets turbulent & chaotic…. keeping our spirits, faith & trust strong. OR we can stay where we are— stuck in fear — giving up on ourselves when the times get shaky.
You just have to choose what path you’re going— and allow yourself to follow through.
The choice is ALWAYS yours.
No agenda this week… However I will share a card pull for the collective:
Collective Healing— Tarot Reading*
Every week, I pull a card for all of us from my Radiant Rider-Waite tarot deck with the intention of love & healing energy.
I shuffle the deck, close my eyes, and I ask the question to the universe— What message do we need to hear this week? What insightful message can we receive that can be used as a guide or support for us while on our paths of healing and living life 🙏🏽
& then when I can feel the message come through, I pull the card…
And this is what we got—
Divine Message For The Week:
Six of Swords
The Six of Swords says…
“Sometimes the only way to be a better person is to remove yourself from an an unhealthy situation. Take an inventory of the emotional, mental, & physical needs of yourself and your loved ones. If it feels there is no choice but to sever ties and flee, then don’t ignore that instinct. Don’t stay in a bad spot just because you fear the unknown or because you are trying to keep your pride intact.”
When contemplating the meaning of the Six of Swords, ask yourself:
-Is it time for me to move on?
-What am I willing to do to protect my family and/or assets?
-Who can I trust and am I listening to their advice?
-How can I better navigate through emotional turbulence?
