This week I’d like to share this loving kindness message/meditation with you.
In light of the madness taking place in the world, what we alll truly need is a lot of love!!!!!!
Love is the antidote for pain & suffering!
Loving-kindness meditation (also known as metta meditation) is a practice rooted in compassion.
A loving-kindness meditation has one purpose— to direct well wishes & good-willed intention to first ourselves & then onto others.
The more we meditate with loving-kindness in mind, the more space we then are able to create compassionate loving energy for ourselves, which ripples outward onto the collective.
When we can come from this living place, it allows for us to let go of judgment, hostility, or simply just anything that’s holding us down…with much more ease.
And the more more we sit with ourselves, in this loving way, to become more familiarized with our own pain and suffering, the more we understand the quiet suffering in others.
