You want it, you got it.
I used to believe that the law of attraction was simply about visualizing what you want, until I realized that it’s so much more.
The law of attraction (which throughout the newsletter, will be shortened to LOA) is an ability we all possess. In the most simplest form, LOA is the power our mind has to turn our thoughts into reality. It is the concept behind manifesting things in our lives that we need/want. And to cultivate a strong relationship with this idea of LOA, we must understand a few important key factors.
One important thing we need to be understanding of is that the LOA isn’t some easy way to get what we want in life. We need to put in work. We cannot just wish something into existence & expect it to happen.
“The LOA isn’t a passive approach to manifesting the reality you deserve. You cannot just sit back & expect things to be handed to you, you gotta put forth effort.”
A great example of what that means is, think about when we wake up in the morning. If you’re anything like me, you begin your mornings with coffee. You may wake up & visualize the coffee you’re about to drink but you may notice thereafter that by simply visualizing the coffee, it isn’t going to magically arrive in your hand. There are a few steps needed to manifest this desire, right?
We have to get out of bed, walk to the kitchen, get the coffeemaker started, add the coffee, warm up the milk, wait for the coffee, add the coffee to a cup, then add milk, then add sugar (if that’s our thing), THEN we have the coffee we visualized. It took work. Same applies when thinking of the LOA.

The LOA isn’t a passive approach to manifesting the reality you deserve. You cannot just sit back & expect things to be handed to you, you gotta put forth effort.
Some other key factors we need to understand before we can allow the LOA to work for us will be discussed in the “mindful approach” section and includes:
-patience
-belief
-perspective
-gratitude
-mindfulness
-positivity
-intention
-attention
-discipline

Mindful Approach
This week is about the LOA & 9 key factors needed to allow the LOA to work in our favor.
Mindful Reflection
Here I’m sharing a powerful ‘plan’ that I use to win in any situation & real life scenarios to how I apply it.
Mindful Insights
1) Enneagram —

The Enneagram is a personality quiz that describes nine different personality types and maps each of these types on a nine-pointed diagram which helps to illustrate how the types relate to one another.
It can be extremely useful in understanding who you are and why you do the things you do. The real value of the system is uncovered when you begin to understand it as a way to grow and develop.
The Enneagram can help us to see our patterns objectively, so that we can begin to understand that they are not inevitable—we can choose to take another approach if we need to.
And, it can help us to understand what we need to do in order to grow and become happier, more effective, more actualized people.
My personality type is split between an 8 & 9— which is a personality deemed as one who views self as a leader and loves a good challenge but also someone who views self as a peacemaker. See what your personality type is. Take the quiz to find out:
2) 7 Powerful Affirmations — Affirmations To Make The Best Of The Present Moment

Say these affirmations to manifest prezence when you feel your mind slipping away. Write them down on sticky notes if you have too & place them around the house as a good reminder.
Right now is life. All that exist is now.
I appreciate this moment right here, right now.
I am in no rush. I am taking moments for myself to breathe. I can be where I am. Every step and experience is necessary.
I am in the perfect place at the perfect time.
I am allowing myself to be a beginner. I am doing the best I can until I know better. Once I know better, I’ll do better.
Comparing in negative ways does nothing for me. We all need our own time to travel our distance. I can focus on the steps I’m taking now. That is enough.
I am present.
3) “Stop it” —
This is funny clip with Bob Newhart that I found which does a great job in helping us to understand how to stop our negative thoughts or behaviors. While this video uses humor, when done properly, the “stop it” technique which can also be known as a pattern interruption tool, can be a powerful way to notice and then change negative thought patterns.
I find that we usually ruminate in our problems of circumstances and instead of finding sound solutions, we instead complain about it. Based on my interpretation, this video shows us (in a funny way) that when we are able to recognize when this happens, we can literally tell ourselves to “stop it” & in turn, it can help us to interrupt the thought pattern, get back into the present moment & out of the story we keep creating of our lives so that we can look at things more objectively.
See it for yourself. What do you think?
4) Cultivate New Habits For Yourself —
Forming a new habit is a challenge in itself, right? However, with some discipline, we will find that cultivating a new behavior for ourselves is quite possible.
Take the 90 day video challenge that I took on for instance. If you follow me on social, you know that I run a YouTube channel with a good friend of mine (socialmediamademedoit) and to get more comfortable behind camera, we both took on the challenge to create one video every day for 90 days. At the end of the challenge, we found it to be effective as we’ve been now creating more & more videos everyday & really flowing with it.
It’s been said that it takes 30 days to break or start a new habit. Why not try 90?
What’s a habit you’re looking to break or start? Would you consider taking on a 90 day challenge to get yourself there?

Visualization (Guided) Meditation
Come practice along this visualization meditation with me & see what it’s like to manifest your goals into reality.
It’s a short 10 min guided practice. When you have some quiet time for you, give it a listen & let me know what you think!
Mindful Approach
The real reason why you aren’t getting what you want in life may surprise you.
How many of us are actually tapping in or harnessing our full potential? How many of us are engaging with work we that we actually feel passionate about? How many of us are actually fully living instead of just surviving?
The reasons why some of us aren’t following in that direction, & instead struggle everyday to meet ends meet, battle with negative emotions, & continue on with this sense of dissatisfaction with our jobs & overall life has a lot to do with the excuses we telll ourselves.
These excuses become obstacles in our way. We put the excuses out into the universe & it then becomes our truth, our reality.
The real truth, however, is we already have what it takes to achieve what we want in life. The difference between ppl who are successful & ppl who are not lies in the way they use their mind.
Many successful ppl use the LOA in their approach to get what they desire. And because so, they are able to focus in on what they want, silence whatever says otherwise, & achieve their end goals as intended.
In using the LOA as a means to manifest the life you deserve, there are several key factors that are needed to allow it to work. I’ll list 9 of the key factors I use & that works for me in hopes it can work for you too.
Patience: Sometimes we can overestimate what might happen in a year, but then underestimate what can happen in say 3 or 5 or 7 years. We allow our mind to play tricks on us. We think because we’re putting some effort in trying to create something into existence & not seeing it as fast as we would like, that we’re not doing something right or failing. A good reminder is just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Be patient my friend.
Patience is when you keep taking steps. You keep asking for what you want. You keep working hard. You keep showing up. You keep focusing and doing your affirmations and meditating and putting the time in visualizing what you want and working towards what you want. Even though your mind wants to play tricks on you, patience is when you don’t give up.
Belief: Believing in the universe & in yourself is so important. If you don’t, why would anything manifest for you? You gotta be strong, and you gotta believe.
Perspective: Open yourself up to all the possibilities. The universe works in mysterious ways. Don’t fixate on what you expect to happen. Instead allow all opportunities to manifest itself. The things you are asking for could manifest in so many different ways. Shift your perspective, you shift your life.
Gratitude: Be more thankful in general. Express gratitude for all that you DO have. Appreciate the little moments, the process. Keep a gratitude journal if it helps so that you can go back to it when you feel you need a little inspiration. We have to learn to be content with life before we can truly experience the abundance life has to offer.
Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness EVERYDAY. Being mindful is only as complicated as you allow it to be. With a little guidance & practice, you too can cultivate mindfulness in your daily life. Find time to be present in the moment & stop every so often to smell the roses (literally). The more mindful you are, the better. Life isn’t meant to be taken so seriously where we have to be going and going and going full force non stop 24/7. For your wellbeing, try to stop from time to time to take a mindful moment.
Positivity: Staying positive, especially when challenges come along may pose as a challenge in itself. It may not seem easy to find positivity all the time, but it’s important to atleast aim to be most of the time. Do not allow negative self talk in your life. Try to look for the silver lining in things. Sure we can’t always be positive, but the more we try the better it will be for our mental health, thus overall life.
Intention: Set clear intentions for what you want out of life. Don’t say it once, and then never repeat it again. If you want the universe to manifest something for you, you wanna make the universe aware of how badly you desire to have it. If you don’t set intentions or aren’t clear in what you want, they may get lost in the sauce & I mean this quite literally.
Attention: Pay attention to the smaller signs that the universe throws your way. They may not be as apparent as the big signs you may be looking for but they are just as, if not more important. Small signs can be repeated numbers (synchronicities), better sleep or deeper dreams, more money coming your way, seeing rainbows. Just little things.
Discipline: Stop procrastinating! Seriously, it’s hurting your ability to succeed or achieve that thing you’ve been trying to manifest. The more you procrastinate and expect the universe to throw things your way, the further behind you’ll get. You gotta put in work. It’s a two-fold relationship. The universe got your back but you gotta keep going. Remember—You get what you give.
Mindful Reflection
A powerful ‘plan’ that allows for me to win in any situation.
‘Plan’ is a mnemonic tool I use to keep me aligned & essentially “winning” in any situation that arises in my life. Ofcourse we may go through certain situations that pull us all the way in & we may lose our ability to use our plan from time to time, but as long as we practice and understand the fundamentals to what this plan can do for us, we’ll be well on our way to living a much more happier life.
PLAN broken down means—
P- pause/plan
L- let go/learn
A- accept/appreciate
N- nurture/navigate
Pause, breathe. When you take a moment to breathe in & out, you allow time for your mind to gain fresh oxygen and strength so that you can plan out how you want to choose to respond, & not just react. This is something I practice on a daily basis. I always come back to the breathe to regulate.
Let go of any beliefs, ideas, thoughts, expectations, hurt or pain that you’re holding onto or that comes your way. Understand that they are not you. Try and see if you can instead learn from what happens/happened. This helps me because of the understanding (that’s now so engrained into my being) that we are not our thoughts or feelings. We are humans who experience thoughts & feelings. We are the observer.
Accept what was. And remembering that acceptance doesn’t mean you agree with what happened or happens, instead acceptance means you choose to find peace within & appreciate what is. I can think of so many situations where acceptance supported me. One example can be seen through the whole covid situation were alll still going through. While I DO not like what’s happening or how it’s being handled, I’m accepting that this is the current reality or state we are living in. And while I cannot change it, I can find peace in just doing what I know is best that will serve both me and humanity at large.
Nurture your pain and allow yourself to heal so that you can navigate in a way that’s serving your growth & transformation. Life isn’t always rainbow and sunshine. Sometimes we go through painful situations. And while it sucks, it’s okay to allow ourselves to fully feel. When I go through shitty situations that cause me pain, I don’t like it, but I sit with the pain, and nurture my feelings. I speak to myself kindly & respectfully (through my thoughts or sometimes even aloud) as I would a friend who was going through a similar situation. I give myself time so that I can smoothly and effectively move in the direction of healing and growing.
& that’s all for this week my friend. Thank you so much for being here & for being you. Sending you a positive vibrations so that you manifest a beautiful & blessed week.
until next week,
namaste.
