**THIS is a longer email but packed with valuable information, perspective, tips, & includes a challenge for the week that I’m inviting you and highly encouraging you to take on because it’s meant to only help. So please take your time, read with ease, if you cannot finish it in one sitting, that’s completely fine, come back and read it later. This is a mindfulness email meant to help you live and feel your best. **
Hi friend,
In last weeks email, I shared a blog post explaining what I believe to be, one of the secrets to adulthood. And if you haven’t gotten a chance to read through that yet, you can find the post here [secret to adulthood].
So while anybody can read a blog post about personal development, its one thing to read it and another to live it. We can learn about all the different healing tools, understand that they’re here to help us change our lives for the better, and we can even learn about how such tools have always been available to us at all times...yet, in order to fully receive the benefits from such tools, there’s something in addition needed— and that’s trust.
In this email, you’re getting —
New Month, Who Dis — A glance overview on what’s to come for The Zen Space: Intentions for the month of February
A New Blog Post: The Practice of Trust: Why trust is so important & how to cultivate more of it
Mindfulness Challenge of The Week: Creating Your Morning Pages.
let’s get into it —
Here’s what’s happening for the month of February w The Zen Space: (Overview)
One of the intentIons I created for this year is to be more intentional with everything I do. And with one of my missions in life being to help serve & support others in need, I’ve created a new system that will allow for me to do that with much more ease & structure.
What I aim for is to be able to support you or anyone who’s seeking guidance while on the spiritual path towards growth with practicality. And since I’ve been on a few spiritual awakenings now, I know what it’s like, what can come up along the way, and what it takes to get through challenges. What’s most important, that I’ve come to learn so far, is that to grow and to achieve and level of success from life, our foundation must be strong & grounded. We must have our physiological (basic) needs met first. Then we can work our way up…And so that’s why I created a 7 month chakra system framework that I feel will greatly support anyone’s spiritual growth process. Starting at the most fundamental, grounded level, you may have noticed that January’s theme or focus was around the Muladhara or root chakra —which is one of the seven primary chakras.
As we continue to move along the year, we will work our way up the chakra system, creating a new theme of chakra for every month.
Given that we are now in February — the theme surrounding this month revolves around the second (sacral) chakra. As we move into the month, I will share with you more about what the sacral chakra is, what it means when it’s blocked, or weak, and what you can do to create a more healthier, balanced chakra so that you can move up the chakra healing system successfully. All to enhance your capacity to lead a much more emotional, physical, and spiritually aligned life.
This month I will also be diving deeper into the zen talks live video series. I have faith this this will work out smoothly this time & I’m ready to bring you something valuable and worth your time everytime. I will also be inviting guest speakers throughout the series, to share their truth and perspectives with you as well. All that’s needed now is you! :) So please stay tuned and I’ll update you as the time approaches.
Something I find extremely helpful to my personal growth and is also something I do a lot of is self-reflection.
Every so often, (usually weekly) I create space to reflect deeply on my own life, taking note of how things are going. I do this to ensure I’m moving in the right direction; auditing what I’m doing effectively and making corrections to the things that can use improvement.
And so the other day, while reflecting, something came up for me and that’s what I will like to share with you here today…

Morning Pages — Conscious stream of free flow journaling:
Have you ever heard of morning pages?
Morning pages, a mindfulness technique made popular by Julia Cameron (author of, “The Artists Way”) are three pages of longhand writing meant to help clear up any creative blocks we may be experiencing, cultivate a more clearer mind, come up with better ideas, and live with less anxiety.
I think it’s a powerful way to just “brain dump” alll the junk from the mind before starting the day, which sets your day up for success. I’ve been doing it now for a week straight and I don’t ever plan on stopping. I have been finding this to be an extremely effective way to help me live more intentionally and feel more peaceful and at ease within. I invite you to take on this challenge with me, or I hope you can atleast consider it.
All you need is a cheap notebook, a pen or pencil and your raw thoughts. Upon waking up, before checking your phone, emails, news, or anything else, grab your book, grab your pen or pencil and just allow yourself to flow. No judgement, no planning, just flow. Three pages. It doesn’t matter what you talk about, how much sense it makes, just commit yourself to 3 pages. Every morning. And just begin to notice the shift happen inside of you.
BonusTip: To enhance your experience, after you complete your morning pages, meditate immediately after for 15-20 minutes. And then begin your day.
